Margo Health

Founded in 2020, Margo Health aims to transform the reporting and evidence collection process for survivors, healthcare providers and law enforcement with the first ever standard and unified evidence kit and digital case management platform.

The name Margo, honors Martha, “Marty,” Goddard, who devoted her life to helping sexual assault survivors and who pioneered the very first evidence collecting rape kit. She is remembered and honored through this kit for the incredible strides she made for sexual assault and domestic violence survivors.

Margo believes survivors, and wants to be part of world where sexual assault survivors can finally get the help that they need, and the justice they deserve.

The Founder

In 2018, after hearing about the thousands of untested rape kits, and the sometimes 10-hour long sexual assault evidence exams that survivors have to sit through, Antya was inspired to design a better system.

As part of her Master’s thesis at the School of Visual Arts (SVA) in MFA Products of Design, she spent two years researching, designing and volunteering as an Advocate at New York Presbyterian Hospital to provide help and resources to survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence. The work resulted in 6 different design opportunities that improve evidence collection for sexual assault and domestic violence survivors and Margo is the culmination of them all.

Antya is a Safety Designer who has worked as a Trust and Safety Designer for Tinder, and as a Designer for companies such as InVision, Equinox, frog design, Harvard University, Johnson & Johnson and more.
